Review

It's been a struggle, but I finally have my ideas set. I'm not prepared just yet, but in using film as my main point for students to gain interest, I contemplated how I was to persuade students or people in general to see that film has an impact in our lives. Previously, I said I wanted to have Chinquapin students, primarily, involved in this project. It can stimulate a great reaction because in wanting to convey a fun and educational environment for my film, I want to show students interact with other students and teachers alike. Through much thought and wrestling with different views of how to provide a TED talk that will captivate an audience I thought that I can show clips of movies that have inspired or shown some sort of style that I like. Yet, not only am I displaying movie clips from the movies I've seen, but also I'm showing examples of the things that make a film interesting. Whether it be the message, trailer, or style that it conveys, it helps captivate an audience and show that film can be informative and joyful at the same time. To provide students with this service of having them express their own ideas through film production is a unique and grand idea that can not only help student show their brilliance in this art form, but also show teachers and possibly the world that film has an everlasting impact in people's minds.
